He produces a number of relief images based on geometrical shapes that explore an aspect of ›becoming‹, and exhibits these works for the first time. Shortly after this he marries and decides to suspend his studies. His daughter Sara is born the following year.

1968 - 1971 These are difficult years for the budding artist: primarily occupied with parental duties and the need to make ends meet financially, he neglects his artistic practice. Only later does he resume his studies and join the class of Karl Heinrich Greune, a painter with a particular interest in affective and analytical approaches. Müller develops a good relationship to his teacher. During his final semesters he does a large amount of drawing, immerses himself in art-theoretical texts and concludes his education for the time being.piktopiktopikto
